Highlights of our PHS Ag. Dept. and FFA Chapter!
Recently, PHS senior and FFA chapter President, Cheyenne Hano, was interviewed on national television by RFDtv for our FFA chapter being named a top 10 Model of Excellence in the nation. You can watch that video clip here:
Our students were also recognized at the school board meeting last Tuesday for their many state and national achievements. Video footage from Action News 17 on that is at the link below, and they also recently published a summary in The Daily Star. However, it is a link to Facebook, so you may have to view it from a non-school device for it to open. Footage about Ponchatoula High FFA begins at about 6:00 minutes into the video.
Finally, Bradley Coleman was pleased to represent Ponchatoula High School and Louisiana at the National Teach Ag Day celebration in Chicago, IL last week. He was invited to share brief remarks about the profession on stage, which was broadcast live nationally. That video can be found here, if you care to watch. If you'll fast-forward, my remarks begin at about 1:23:15 and last only about three minutes.
