    NO MORE LUNCH BILLS!   ALL STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE FREE LUNCH FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS THANKS TO A GRANT!   Students are allowed to bring their own lunch from home if they prefer. 
    For every online order placed with Scholastic, our school library receives a $3 credit to use towards new library books.  You can access all their book club catalogs on their site.
    Our school code is NHYZP.
  • There's An App for That!

    TPSS has an app that is available free from the App Store.  Once you download the app, you can set it to send you alerts and updates from the schools that you choose.  This is another way to keep up with the latest happenings in your school(s)!

    The Sadie Hawkins shirts will go on pre-order Monday, April 8th, through Thursday, April 18th.  There will be NO extras purchased so you must order by the deadline.  The shirts are $15.  Your child can get an order form from their homeroom teacher starting April 8th OR your child can bring $15 check or cash in an envelope to their homeroom teacher with their name, shirt size, and Sadie's shirt written on the outside.  The Sadie's dance is Friday, May 3rd.  Shirts are optional and do not have to be purchased to attend the dance.  Dance tickets are $5 if purchased at school the week of the dance or $8 at the door that night.  The theme is "Sadie goes Retro".

  • PBIS 5th Six Week- Snow Cone Celebration

    April 10, 2019

    Students will receive a free snow cone!

    The students will be in different areas to enjoy their snow cone and the beautiful Spring weather.

    Students will be able to wear their Color War shirts and jeans on this day, April 10th.


    We will be selling concessions under the bus drop off area.

    Students will choose from six flavors.

    The 4-H Clubs of Tangipahoa Parish have been asked to collect the pull tabs from cans for the Ronald McDonald House.  Please save your pull tabs and send or drop them off to us at school.  Your help in this service project is much appreciated!

        Please send all Boxtops  and Community Coffee  labels to Ms. Splane in the library or to the office.  They will get them to the PTSA so that they can redeem them for our school.  Although they can only be mailed off once a year,  we will COLLECT THEM ALL YEAR LONG!

  •  School Fees Information   
    We are happy to have your child(ren) as part of the student body this year at JSMS.  Please read the information below concerning school fees.
    • If you send a check for school fees, please have your child's name and a phone number on the memo line.
    • You may send one check for supply fees, PE uniforms and clubs.  Just attach a note as to what fees you are paying. 
    • If you are sending cash, please have it in an envelope marked with your child's name and what fees you are paying.
    • PE uniforms are $15 for all new students and any students who need to purchase a new uniform.  
    • Fees for all grades are $20 per student  (plus $15 PE uniform if needed). 
    • 4-H dues are $15 (joining this club is optional)
    • If your child is invited to join BETA there will be a membership fee.
    • School fees for the current year and any school debts from past years MUST BE PAID in order to attend field trips, dances and other special school activities.
