    HWMS PARCC committee

Hammond Westside Montessori School hosted a “Knock It Out of the PARCC” and a “Parent Montessori Workshop” on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Both were a huge success with a great turnout! A lot of hard work went into the planning and preparation of this event. It enlightened parents who attended of what PARCC was about and how we are preparing students for success! There were many teachers, staff, administrators and parents involved in this Saturday event to help our children.A special thank you to Lea James for making her idea become a reality. She "stepped up to the plate", got a committee of hard working people, and "ran home" with it! “Knock it Out of the PARCC” Committee from left to right:Becky Navara, Angela Bradford, Cathy LeBlanc, Lea James, Mia Lewis, and Tonya Betancourt.
