International Dot Day in Colette Taillon's room at Hammond Westside Montessori

September 15th is International Dot Day around the world and TPSS teachers and students all across the district are reading the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds and participating in Dot Day activities that correlate with Common Core State Standards. Colette Taillon's class at Hammond Westside Montessori School is celebrating this inspiring day by showing students that even with a simple dot you can make your mark in the world and embrace what life has in store for you. Ms. Taillon's class has completed a Dot scavenger hunt, Dot math, paragraph writing about Dot Day as well as many art projects all revolving around Dot Day. Look at the picture above to see if you can “connect the dots” to see where it leads you. Remember to "Make Your Mark on the World" and leave it a better place.
