  • Friday T-Shirts

    SHS will be selling “Friday t-shirts.”
    Students who purchase one may wear them
    every Friday without having to wear a uniform shirt underneath.

  • North Oaks Medical Explorer Program

    The North Oaks Health System's Medical Explorer program is designed to
    provide students with fast facts and experiences
    that will guide them in their future academic and/or career descisions. 
    This fills up very fest. See Mrs. Terri Brignac for
    more information by Tuesday, October 31.

    Student of the Year Packets are here!!!

    If you would like to apply for Sumner High School’s 2017 – 2018
    Student of the Year, pick up a packet in Mrs. Brignac’s office.
    You must complete a portfolio and an interview.

    Interviews will be held before we get out for the Christmas holidays!!!

  • Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Item Drive

    Madelyn Williams is collecting items for the
    Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for her senior project.
    Each grade has specific items that they are asked to bring.
    The items are due Wednesday, November 8.

  • Louisiana AFL-CIO Scholarship

    The Louisiana AFL-CIO will be awarding three
    $1000 scholarships at the 63rd Annual
    Convention in March 2018.  To be elibible
    to enter this essay contest, all contestants
    must be high school seniors residing in the 
    State of Louisiana whose parent/step parent
    is a member of an affiliated local union in
    good standing the the Louisiana AFL-CIO
