TPSS Bus App
As part of our commitment to Start Strong this school year, we are bringing you new technologies such as the Edulog Parent Portal Lite app. This application will allow you to identify your student’s bus route, receive notifications for drop off and pick up times, and communicate with bus drivers in real time.

OnCourse Connect
Connect to your student’s classroom with the OnCourse Systems parent portal. Increase student engagement through this user-friendly platform which allows parents/guardians to find homework, view reports, and receive messages from teachers.
ClassLink
ClassLink is a single sign-on resource that allows students and teachers to access supplemental web and Windows applications that certain classes or schools may be using for extra practice, enrichment, or assignment management. Instead of having to remember individual login information for resources such as ClassDojo, OnCourse Systems, Komodo, Mathletics, or hundreds of other external educational apps, students and teachers only need one password to be able to access their accounts from any device.

What is FAFSA?
When should I fill it out?
Financial aid is often awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and the final deadline for FAFSA can sneak up on you. Checking this task off your list now could make a big difference in the opportunities available to your student after graduation. The official deadlines are posted below.
Recommended to have complete by February 1, 2022.
Absolute deadline is July 1, 2022.

YES! We have a specialized team from Career Compass available to help students complete their FAFSA applications.
Career Compass will be visiting TPSS high school campuses on these days between 8am - 1pm :
Monday - Loranger and Kentwood (2 times a month - contact your school counselor directly for more info)
Tuesday - Ponchatoula and Hammond
Wednesday - Amite and Independence
Thursday - Ponchatoula and Sumner
**All of the Career Compass coaches have gone through training on the 2022-23 FAFSA and feel more prepared than ever to help as many students as possible. They have events scheduled and in process of being scheduled at the other schools as well**

Your students' continued health and well-being take priority. Access necessary forms in order to alert your students’ school to any existing health conditions such as asthma, allergies, diabetes, or physical disabilities.
Who should you contact?
Call or email the school to speak with your child’s teacher, counselor, or principal about issues concerning your child’s education. Questions that cannot be answered by your student’s teacher can be directed to the school principal. Contact Tangipahoa Parish School Systems with questions that cannot be addressed by your child's school.

The Acceptable Use Policy and Device Agreement must be signed by students and parents/guardians. The optional insurance must be paid every year at the beginning of school. All of the insurance information is in the device agreement.
