Angela Bezue, 4th Grade Assistant Principal
I am excited to be one of your assistant principals. I have been an educator for over sixteen years, and I’m elated to say that my teaching profession, as a student teacher, began right here at The DC Reeves School. I have taught both traditional and accelerated classes (1st through 4th) at both, Hammond Westside Primary and Southeastern Louisiana Laboratory School. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, I was a TAP Master Teacher in St. John The Baptist Parish. I am honored to be part of the administrative team as well as The DC Reeves family.
I believe that “Every Child Can Learn, Every Child Will Learn”! As your assistant principal, my goals are to ensure that our students are prepared and demonstrate high academic achievement, process an ethical character, are committed to service, are technologically proficient, are team players, and prepared for the Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (LEAP) and the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers Assessment (PARCC).
One important component of your child’s success is for you to assist us in his/her educational experience. You can do so by attending school events, adhering to any memos, helping with homework assignments, or any other material sent home by your child’s teacher.
I am committed to working with the community and teachers. I also look forward to meeting, hearing from, and working with parents as we make your child’s school year a successful one. Please feel free to contact me at (985) 386-6433 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please remember, we are shaping your child’s future in school and in life, and with your help, The D.C. Reeves Elementary School will go from Good to Great!
Let’s BE Respectful, BE Compassionate, BE Great, and have a Legendary year together!
