Olsen, Jammie- 6th Grade Math

 

My name is Jammie Dowden-Olsen and I teach 6th grade math.  I enjoy teaching the awesome students at Independence Magnet School.  I grew up in Amite where I graduated from Oak Forest Academy and went on to graduate college from Southeastern Louisiana University.  I genuinely care for each and everyone of my students and hope to help them succeed.  Please do not hesitate to contact me via phone or email.  I am honored to be your child's teacher and I look forward to an amazing school year!

 

STUDENTS REMEMBER:  Any work not completed in class is expected to be completed at home.

 

PARENTS REMEMBER:  Check your child's grades as often as possible through Parent Portal.  Feel free to contact me for any help.

 

Make Up Work:  I have folders in my classroom that contain any makeup work that your child may need. However, I do require my students to take responsibility for themselves and turn in all missed assignments in a timely manner.  If your child needs anything in advance please email me at jammie.olsen@tangischools.org.
