• Graphic Organizers
Graphic organizers are visual representations that assist students in organizing abstract “big picture” information that is new, overwhelming or misunderstood in the new standards. Research supports the utilization of graphic organizers as a contributing factor in improving student performance. Graphic organizers help capture valuable personal representations of concepts, ideas, or information. These organizational tools help to organize thoughts and foster a deeper understanding of key ideas.  Using graphic organizers are effective in streamlining instruction while increasing rigor!
