We will also be doing many essays that go along with each reading unit, preparing daily for the English portion of the ACT, and practicing for End of Course testing.English II:This year we will be preparing for the Leap 2025 test, learning and practicing different types of persuasive writing, and doing lots of reading . We will be reading The Metamorphisis by Franz Kafka, Life of Pi by Yann Martel, and Macbeth by William Shakespeare.The only text that students are required to purchase for this class is Life of Pi by Yann Martel. A supply list is printed on the syllabus which was given on the first day of school.About me:I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Art in English Education. I have been teaching at Loranger High ever since. I have taught World History, English I, English II, Publications I-II, and English III. A few of my favorite things are reading, relaxing on the beach, cooking, and being a wife and mom.
