My name is Mrs. K. Pea. I graduated from Southern University cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. I also hold a Master's degree from Xavier University in Early Childhood, Curriculum and Instruction and a plus 30 in Early Intervention from the University of New Orleans. I am certified to teach Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. I have also had the opportunity to teach Early Childhood classes at Southern University in New Orleans. I currently teach Pre-K at Perrin ELC.
I thoroughly love all of my students, my school, my school family and the community in which I teach. As an educator, my philosophy of education is and always has been "If your child does not learn the way I teach, then I will teach the way they learn".
