GRADUATION 2025 ANNOUNCEMENT

Southeastern Louisiana University – University Center

Graduation Ceremonies: May 7–13

After the graduation ceremony, graduates and their guests are kindly asked to proceed directly to their vehicles and exit the campus in a timely manner. 

Once guests exit the stadium, re-entry will not be permitted.

• May 7 at 6:00 PM – Amite High School
   
• May 8 at 6:00 PM – Loranger High School
   
• May 9 at 6:00 PM – Ponchatoula High School
   
• May 10 at 10:00 AM – Hammond High School
   
• May 10 at 2:30 PM – Independence High School
   
• May 12 at 6:00 PM – Sumner High School
   
• May 13 at 6:00 PM – Kentwood High School

Security & Attendance Reminders

• Clear Bag Policy: Only clear bags are permitted inside the University Center.
   
• Metal Detectors: All attendees will be screened upon entry.
   
• No Artificial Noisemakers, Confetti, Large Signs, or Balloons are allowed inside the venue.
   
• No Parking on the Grass. Follow designated parking and directional signage.
   
• Increased Traffic: Expect heavy traffic before and after ceremonies along University Avenue.
   
• Law Enforcement: Officers will be stationed in parking areas, event grounds, and in the University Center.
   
• Detection Dogs: Weapon detection dogs may be present in parking areas and near venue entrances.
