Committed to finding new and better ways to serve, engage, and connect with our families and community.

The TPSS Office of Innovation will lead our efforts to strengthen partnerships between our schools, families, and the broader community, ensuring that every child has access to the opportunities and support they need to succeed.

Hope Closet
The Tangipahoa Parish School System (TPSS), in collaboration with Tangipahoa Crime Stoppers and Transport Ministries, is excited to announce The Hope Closet Project—a new initiative aimed at ensuring that food and hygiene items are available on all 34 school campuses throughout the parish.
Each Hope Closet will be stocked with nutritious food, personal hygiene products, and basic medical supplies, providing essential resources to students and their families. The goal is straightforward: to make sure every child can come to school ready to learn, grow, and thrive.
TPSS is reaching out to community partners and local businesses for help in keeping the pantry shelves full. “With business and community support, we can ensure that every Tangipahoa Parish School System student has what they need to succeed in school and in life,” said Gary Porter, Assistant Superintendent of Innovation.
Donations of non-perishable food items, personal care products, or financial contributions are appreciated.
