Staff Development
Federal Programs supports researched-based professional development opportunities for educators that build capacity, promote professional learning communities, and support instructional practices focused on improving student achievement.
PROGRAM GOALS
Professional Development
To prepare, train, and recruit highly qualified teacher and principals, assistant principals, paraprofessionals, and personnel in order to have a positive impact on student achievement.
Who the Program Serves
The program provides professional development to district staff in areas of instruction, curriculum, school safety, and school leadership.
Services Provided
Structured programs are provided to successfully attain the goal of the professional development. Professional development is conducted by in-district personnel, LDOE staff, as well as professional vendors to improve student achievement.
