  • Photo/Video Opt Out Form

    It is the policy of Tangipahoa Parish School Board to allow photographs and video footage of
    students to be used in district produced materials including but not limited to web sites, brochures,
    social media, posters, other printed materials, and news media. Parents wanting to Opt-Out of this policy need to complete this form and return it to their school office.

     

  • No classroom treats

    In order to protect our students from the possible spread of Covid, we ask that parents do not send any classroom treats.

  • November 20th is a virtual day. Students do not attend school.

    TPSS Virtual Day for Students
    Friday, November 20, 2020

    Due to the rise of COVID-related concerns and attendance issues, all Tangipahoa Parish Public School students will work fully online on Friday, November 20, 2020, and will not report to the school campuses. 

    Virtual assignments will be posted for Friday, but no virtual Zoom calls will be scheduled. All TPSS students should have their Chromebook issued to them before the break unless they have not returned a loan agreement. If parents/guardians have any questions regarding their child’s Chromebook distribution and/or loan agreement status, please contact the school.

    Also, the deadline to register for the full virtual option has been extended through Friday, November 20, 2020. Please visit our homepage to access the link if your child is currently virtual and would like to continue, or if your child is traditional now but would like to become full virtual beginning in our second semester, January 4, 2021. 

    Employees will report to their normal work site on Friday, November 20, 2020.

    Schools will reopen on Monday, November 30, after the Thanksgiving holidays and will remain open until the Christmas break (December 18-January 4).

    January 4, 2021 will be a full virtual day for students, while employees will report to their work site.

  • Virtual Registration open till November 20

    Virtual Learning Option Registration Form

     

    Registration for our Virtual Learning Option for the 2nd Semester is open. ALL students that want to opt-in to full virtual for the 2nd semester must register. This includes current full virtual students. The deadline to submit the registration form is November 20th at midnight.

    The contains important guidance about virtual learning. Please read the information and submit the form if you want your child to be a full virtual student for the 2nd semester.

  • Masks are required on our campus

  • Important carpool policy

    For the safety of our students, anyone picking up a child through carpool line MUST have a carpool tag.
    If you do not have a tag you will be instructed to go to the front office, with your ID, to receive a new tag. Parents may request a tag for each vehicle.
    After receiving your new tag, you may reenter the carpool line (from Rateau Rd off of Hwy 22). Thank you for your understanding.

  • Carpool riders dismissal schedule

    Carpool riders:
    In order to help social distance the kids at carpool, we will have a staggered dismissal.

     3rd Grade- 3:20-3:35pm
    4th Grade- 3:40-3:55pm

     If you have a child in both 3rd and 4th they will both be dismissed at 3:20. Please make sure you get in line accordingly as not to stop the flow of traffic.

  • TPSS Device Loan Agreement

     Here is the TPSS Device Loan Agreement. Please complete the agreement and return it to the school. A parent must PRINT and sign this form in order for the student to get a device on the Soft Start days. Parents can purchase the optional insurance for $20.00 to cover repairs due to damage. Read all the details in the agreement.
