Culture/Climate Survey

Tangipahoa Parish School System has partnered with Panorama for our students, teachers, staff, and district personnel to complete a survey in efforts to understand their experiences and perceptions. 

During the upcoming weeks, TPSS  will have the opportunity to participate in online surveys to allow the district insight into each person's opinions about the school he or she attends/works and the school's approaches to learning. These online questionnaires aim to help everyone reflect on their mindsets and learn more about themselves.

The student data collected will be shared for informational purposes only with each child's teachers and school leaders and will not be used for any other purpose.

Students in Grades 3 - 12.

Those with classes rostered in JCampus.

Staff Survey

STAFF

Staff on campus who do not have rosters in JCampus. (para educators, curriculum coaches, custodians, cafeteria staff, office workers, nurses, school admin, etc.)

District Survey

DISTRICT

Non-school based employees (transportation, maintenance, technology, financial services, food & nutrition, student services, pupil appraisal, early childhood, registration, district admin) 

 

Commonly Asked Questions

  • Who takes this survey? EVERYONE  (Students 3-12, & ALL Teachers, Staff, & Administrators) 
  • How long does it take to complete? Less than 15 minutes
  • Why do we take this survey? The results are used to improve the culture and climate in our schools. Your participation is completely confidential, which means that no one at your school or in our school district will ever see your individual responses.  The results of this survey will help administrators better understand the perceptions of your school.  Survey data will be used by your administrators to identify strengths and areas for growth.
  • Where do we access the survey? You may use a computer, tablet, or smartphone to access the survey. The survey links will be shared once the survey window is open.
  • Which survey do I take? Student surveys are grouped by Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-12.  Staff surveys are separated into 3 surveys for Teachers, School Administrators/School Support Staff, District Administrators/District Support Staff.
