This morning (8-14-19) Bus 13N was involved in an incident. A garbage truck's mirror hit the bus' mirror when they passed each other on Randall Road. The fire department, as well as EMS assessed all children and they were all fine. The bus driver had a cut to her face from the mirror that broke. She is also fine. We appreciate all of the concern. Midway is having a productive day of learning!
Ms. Ebony Cage, first grade teacher at Midway Elementary School, is facilitating a guided reading group to challenge the students to find text based evidence of questions she posed to them. Ms. Cage gives up her lunch time daily to eat with her students in the cafe. She uses that time to continue to build relationships with them.

Elysian Landrum, Devon McMorris, Brandon McKay, and Kylie Turner had fun reading and learning about places they could visit in Tangipahoa Parish, as well as the state of Louisiana.
