"Don't get twisted up about the LEAP test. You've got this!"
Midway Elementary teachers and staff believe in our 3rd grade students. Our third grade students are taking the LEAP 2025 test the week of April 29 - May 3. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast each day before testing. Ensure they are at school on time and ready to do their best. We know they are up to the challenge.
Ms. Ebony Cage, first grade teacher at Midway Elementary School, is facilitating a guided reading group to challenge the students to find text based evidence of questions she posed to them. Ms. Cage gives up her lunch time daily to eat with her students in the cafe. She uses that time to continue to build relationships with them.

Elysian Landrum, Devon McMorris, Brandon McKay, and Kylie Turner had fun reading and learning about places they could visit in Tangipahoa Parish, as well as the state of Louisiana.
