• Welcome to an interesting year!

So....we aren't really sure how this year is going to go!

The best thing I can say is we can all rock this boat together!

We are Wolves and we can adapt to change. My goal this year is to be as flexible and as transparent as I can be. I am pretty adept at this online thing, so we will get it together. No matter where we are, in school or on Zoom, I expect to make the transition smooth and seamless.

A bit about me, just so you know:

I have been at Loranger for four years, but I have been teaching English since 2007. I enjoy Loranger and am loyal to the pack! I also have taught Theatre, Speech, and Music, off and on. I am excited to start a violin program and a theatre program here in Loranger!

Let's see....since I am an English teacher, I bet you want to know what I enjoy reading. I love reading nonfiction, mostly, but when I was growing up, I enjoyed Stephen King, Madeleine L'Engle, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Pat Conroy, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Anne McCaffrey, Harry Potter, among many other books. Feel free to check out my list on Goodreads, which you can get to from my website. Musically, I love a good movie score or soundtrack. I love Apollo 13 and Schindler's List scores. I love Billy Joel, Queen, Aerosmith, Imagine Dragons....and many others. My favorite plays are Into the Woods, which I have directed, Les Miserables, The Music Man, and just about anything with Bernadette Peters in it.

I have two wonderful Wolf cubs, Eithne and Rhys, who go to LMS. Feel free to say hi to them! I have four cats: Trevor is a big black/siamese, Stella is fluffy, and the two litter-mates are Klaus and Sansa.

I look forward to meeting you! Please feel free to leave a comment.
