    The International Baccalaureate® (IB) provides an official transcript of grades for the Diploma Programme (DP). It is an official copy of an IB candidate’s results.

    Transcripts can be sent directly to an institute of higher education, such as a university. These documents are not sent to students or other organizations.
    Before results are released, students can request to have results sent to six universities. This service is free of charge.
    Of these six, only one can be requested for the USA and only one for Canada.
    All requests must be submitted by the programme coordinator of the school where the student is taking the DP.
    Additional transcript requests can be made and will incur a fee. You can read more about this in the section below.
    Ordering additional transcripts
    Following the issue of results for the session in which a candidate has taken their examinations, the candidate must submit their transcript requests directly to the IB.
    There is a fee for each request.
    To submit a transcript request using a debit or credit card, please complete the online request results service form.
    The IB does not accept American Express cards.
    To submit a transcript request using a check for payment please complete the following form and send to the IB Transcript office as stated on the form:
    The IB will not accept cash or postal orders as forms of payment.


    Requesting a replacement diploma or certificate

    If it has been lost or destroyed, students can request a replacement diploma or certificate. To submit a request using a debit or credit card please complete the online request for results service form.

    Alternatively, please print and complete the replacement request form and send to the address details given in the footer of the document.
    The process takes up to 28 days. You will need proof of identify, including your name and date of birth.

    The IB is extremely proud of its graduates, and the alumni network connects them with one another and with the IB community.

    Members of the alumni network receive a quarterly newsletter, as well as opportunities to connect with graduates from all over the world.
    Students who will graduate in the next two years are encouraged to join.
