Tucker Teachers in Ponchatoula are using their Professional development time getting ready for the 2016-17 school year by learning all about Breakout EDU. The teacherse were divided into 3 groups and each group had a series of puzzle and clues that they had to work together to solve so that they could unlock the locks and Breakout of their box.
O.W. Dillon Elementary teachers got ready for summer with a "Summer Vacation" themed BreakoutEDU professional development session. Teachers had a great time collaborating to see which team opened their box first.

Teacher leaders from across the district participated in the "Cheers to a Great PLC" Breakout EDU session. They solved clues and puzzles to breakout the information needed to ensure a productive PLC (Professional Learning Community) meeting.
Amite High School collaboration teams participated in Breakout EDU sessions in order to learn how this concept can be implemented in the classroom.
Ancillary teachers at Midway Elementary School worked dilgently today during collaboration meeting with librarian Shayla Kelly to solve the mystery of the Breakout Box. Roseland Montessori teachers experienced Breakout EDU during an afterschool PLC meeting. Teachers were able to solve the clues and breakout and in the process, gained great ways to motivate students for testing.
