    At Ponchatoula Jr. High, Ms. Dalton's Literature Club sponsored "Red for a Day" to support the American Heart Association. Students who donated got to wear red.

    Loranger High Cheerleaders

    Loranger High Cheerleaders attended the National High School Cheerleading Competition in Orlando, Florida on February 9-10, 2013. Congratulations go out to the Loranger squad who placed 10th overall.

    Headsprout Master

    Bianca Ingraham, a five year old student, at Woodland Park Elementary Magnet School, completed 80 episodes of Headsprout, ranking in the 98th percentile. This is an amazing feat since this score is usually achieved in Headsprout at the 2nd and 3rd grade level.
