Let's Estimate - 10 Second CountMath PlaygroundIn the lab are four stations with Math Activities for you to complete. You will rotate through the computer station, iPad station, SMART Board station, and Printables station to complete the activities. The activities in each station will showcase tools and ideas that can be used in your own classroom.iPad Project - Measurement: Use the iPad and the app Aviary to create a picture problem. Use the camera on the device to snap a shot of something in the classroom, or outside. Pull the picture into Aviary. Edit the picture, add embellishments and apply enhancements. Create a word problem by adding text to the picture. When clicking "Done," the image will automatically save to your camera roll. Navigate to Blackboard from the iPad and post your picture in the Discussion Board for Day 2.app smashEstimation Station - Every morning there will be a container in the front of the classroom filled with items. Write your estimate on the sheet of paper located by the container. At the end of the day 2 people will be responsible for counting the items and telling the class the result.

You will need to print two slides. One slide has the full illustration and the other is half of the same illustration. Type the title of your story on the front cover before printing. After you print them, cut across the middle of the half illustration. This will be your front cover. The full illustration is your back cover.
