    UPDATE: 

    This is the high school staggered schedule for this week:

    Wednesday, September 16th - All 9-12 students are working online from home.  

    Thursday, September 17th  Group A (A-K) will attend classes on campus.

    Friday, September 18th Group B (L-Z) will attend classes on campus.

    Beginning on September 21st, the high school weekly schedule will be as follows:

    Monday & Tuesday Group A will attend classes on campus. 

    Wednesday Groups A & B Virtual Day - all high school students work online from home.

    Thursday & Friday Group B will attend classes on campus. 

    9th-12th grade students that have chosen the full virtual option need to continue to check their email and log in to the virtual platform to engage in lessons and assignments from their teachers.
     

    The virtual curbside meal pickup schedule will resume Wednesday, September 16th at Sumner High, Independence High, and Hammond High.

    PHS Parents and Students- Phase 3 - AB Rotation 

     

    Please make sure you read over all of the information carefully. In order to maintain the safest environment possible, some procedures have changed and must be followed.  We are very excited to have our students back on campus.

  • Instructions for Make-up Technology Distribution for Friday, August 21, 2020

     

    Pick up is for ALL PHS students who have not attended soft start to receive a chrome book!

    Parents and students: Technology distribution will take place from 8:30am -11am.

    Students will enter at the east entrance to campus just as they would for carpool. There will be a tent with greeters who will direct the vehicles to a parking space in the front of the school. The parking spaces will be numbered 1-40. Please follow the instructions of the teachers on duty.

    Each vehicle must have the device loan agreement filled out and signed by a parent. If the student wants to purchase insurance, the $20 payment MUST be included at the time of pick up. Insurance cannot be purchased after the Chromebook has been issued. 

    Once a vehicle is in a parking place, please remain in your vehicle and have all paperwork ready. It will be given to a PHS teacher who will process the paperwork and return the designated Chromebook to your vehicle.

    Once the process is complete, the vehicle will be directed to the exit at the west entrance just as vehicles exit for carpool.

    Again, be sure all forms are complete upon arrival.    


    VERY IMPORTANT:

    Students you will receive an email and/or

    Zoom link from your teachers by 

    Friday, August 21, 2020 with instructions 

    on how to begin "HARD START."

    Items to bring with you:

     

    1-Technology Loan Agreement Form signed by a student and a parent.

    2-Video Conference Consent Form signed by the student and a parent.

    3-Optional $20.00 insurance for the Chromebook.--This can only be purchased on the day the chromebook is processed for the student.

    4-Personal Water Bottle(s)

    5--A writing utensil and paper.

     

    BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED; however, students may bring his/her own lunch.

  • Schedule Change Procedure

    The PHS counselors are working diligently to correct scheduling mistakes.  In order to streamline the process, scheduling changes will only be handled through a google form.  Each grade level will have their one unique link emailed to them on the morning of their soft start date. 

    • Allow 2 weeks for schedule changes
    • To access the schedule change form students must be logged into their school account on their Chromebook.
    • Students will only be allowed to submit a schedule ONE TIME.

  • Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18, Sophomores should report to school for 2020 Soft Start.  ALL students will report from 7:30-2:42.  Students must wear uniforms and attend all day in order to get important information.  When you arrive to school go directly to your holding location.  Arrival time is 7:08-7:30.  Students may not arrive sooner 7:08.

    Students will NOT be allowed to receive chrome books unless they bring the signed DLA form with them on assigned pick up days.

     

    Please fill out the Device Loan Agreement and send it to school with your child in order for them to pick up devices.  A copy can be found here. If you do not have access to a printer, hard copies can be picked up at the high school office.
