  • IB Diploma Programme Parent Meeting

    Parents of HHMS Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme students are invited to join Coordinator Deirdra Haase on Monday, September 25 from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. in the library. Parents will learn about HHMS's Diploma Programme and meet the teachers. The IBoosters will have a short meeting following the general meeting.

  • See You at the Pole

    SEE YOU AT THE POLE day is on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:00 a.m. local time. All around the globe, in every time zone, students will be gathering at their flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. SEE YOU AT THE POLE is a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer for your generation.

  • Tors for Texas

    Personal Care Items Needed for Harvey Victims // Starting Monday, September 18, the homeroom that collects the most products from the list will win a donut party. Items may be turned in throughout the week. The winner will be announced Monday, September 25. All donations will be sent to a school in Texas that was affected by Hurricane Harvey. Items: toothpaste/brushes, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, hygiene products, soap, new hair accessories, hand sanitizer, dental floss, tissue, etc.

  • College & Career Fair

    HHMS will be hosting a College and Career Night Wednesday, September 13th from 6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. This event is an excellent opportunity for our students to get one on one time with representatives form post-secondary institutions near and far. ALL juniors and seniors are strongly encouraged to attend.

  • Sadie Hawkins Dance

    The Sadie Hawkins Dance will be held Saturday, September 23rd from 8:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M. in the cafeteria. The theme is “Sadie Goes to the Farm.” Students may wear farm related outfits or costumes. Tickets cost $10 (tickets get in 2 people). Tickets may be purchased from Ms. Flanagan (across from the Discipline Office) during lunch. Contact Ms. Bankston for more information.

  • Blue Bell Ice Cream Bash!

    Representatives from Blue Bell Ice Cream delivered ice cream cups to the entire student body of Hammond High Magnet School to honor the achievements of Pro Start teacher Angie Drago. Ms. Drago was recently named the Louisiana Department of Education High School Teacher of the Year.
