The mission of D.C. Reeves Elementary is to create an environment in which students take the initiative to be Respectful, Compassionate, and Great with an opportunity to be lifelong learners and productive citizens.
It is the policy of Tangipahoa Parish School Board to allow photographs and video footage of
students to be used in district produced materials including but not limited to web sites, brochures,
social media, posters, other printed materials, and news media. Parents wanting to Opt-Out of this policy need to complete this form and return it to their school office.
In order to protect our students from the possible spread of Covid, we ask that parents do not send any classroom treats.
Thank you for your understanding.

All TPSS students, grades PreK - 12, will participate in virtual lessons on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Students will receive instructions from their teachers on expectations for the day.
The intent of our scheduled virtual days is to help students practice the skills they need to participate in online instruction. Teachers will also have the opportunity to offer small group intervention, hold parent conferences, provide academic feedback on assignments, and continue with their own professional and content development.

We strive to build a firm foundation that inspires and motivates our students to overcome obstacles and to achieve individual growth and lasting academic success.

School Superintendent Melissa Stilley says one lesson the Tangipahoa Parish School System has learned in 2020 is that virtual learning is here to stay, and as a result, all local public school students will participate in scheduled “virtual learning” days moving into the spring semester.
