    Students at Tucker Elementary School celebrated great readers this morning! Students use the Renaissance Learning program to take quizzes on books they have read. Over 60 students earned enough points to attend the popcorn party. Students pictured are second graders: Avery Gregoire and Liam Tallo, who have already earned over 30 points this year! Other students that have reached the 30 point goal are: Chance Stroud, Issac Phillips, Taylar Prokop, Lexi Rodriguez, Ashlyn Trahan.

We're getting more "techie" at the Tucker Library!
2nd Grade students from Mrs. Van's class are learning how to read an Interactive ebook on the iPad.  Students are currently using Storia, which is a free app download from Scholastic.  Students are rotating into the iPad center, during library, to have a turn checking out these cool new eBooks.  Check it out for your own iPad's!
Tucker students have really been loving the new IPad center at the library!  We are taking turns with these fun ebooks.  It is available as a free download to your computer or any ereader with an Internet Connection.
You can also download the app to an IPad - "Storia" (not available on IPhone yet.)
