Martha Vinyard Elementary School
has a role to play in the total development of the child. In the short span of time that the students attend Vinyard Elementary, the faculty strives to create an environment for students to receive an education commensurate with their abilities. Experiences are designed to meet present and future needs of the students. In this traditional school setting, the faculty strives to motivate, guide, and instruct students in the basic skill competencies, human relationships, aesthetic appreciation, and personal health & fitness. Additionally, the faculty believes in a program that enables students to practice fairness and cooperation, to obtain confidence and solve problems, to develop independence, and to assume responsibility for their own actions. As a result, students can function successfully in their present and future environments.
