Safety Takes Every Person

Lindsey Cardinale, American Idol Finalist season 4, opened at Jewel M. Sumner High School’s first Project STEP rally.Project STEP (Safety Takes Every Person) is a program that promotes safe driving among teens. The grant was funded through the Lt. Governor’s Office and the Joe Brown Foundation.  Guest speakers included Paul Ouiller, Louisiana State Police, and Chuck Reed along with Jeannie Alexander from the, Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office. On May 8^th Project STEP will present a mock car crash at the High School.
