Jasmine Smith competed in Business Communication.
Sumner High School's FBLA chapter recently attended the Louisiana
Future Business Leaders of America State Conference held March 30,
31, and April 1, 2008, at the Holiday Inn Select in Baton Rouge.
The conference was enjoyed by all in attendance.
The keynote speaker for the opening general session of the
conference was Patty Hendrickson, full-time professional speaker,
and expert in leadership development. She talked with the students
about wanting and getting more out of life.
Their advisor, Mrs. Karley R. Cooper, would like to thank all
students and parent chaperones that attended the conference.
