Sumner PTSA is Bucking for Success . . .

Comments from the PTSA President:

Sumner PTSA is very proud to announce that Ms. Hazel Brandon was chosen to be Educator of Distinction this year for Sumner High School. She has also been selected Educator of Distinction on the Louisiana PTA State level. We are so blessed to have her in our school. I'm sure everyone along with me is ready to close this year down to begin our summer break. The PTSA has been planning a few end of the year activities for Sumner Middle and Sumner High. They will be listed below. If you would like to participate in any way, please call me. We can use all the parental help we can get! I know many of us are involved in baseball and softball this time of the year, and I hope you all can find the time to come to the next two PTSA meetings. All of our meetings are important, but the next two we will be electing and installing officers for Sumner Middle PTSA and Sumner High PTSA for the 2008-2009 school year. Your voice is very important so please try to attend. As always I will get down to business so that we may dismiss at a reasonable time.

• Our 2007-2008 goal was (510). So close!!!
• Congratulations to Roseanne Estes for winning the $500 senior membership drawing!!!

• If you owe the PTSA candy or coke money, please do your best to pay before the end of the school year. We will be having the treasurer's books audited.
