2007-2008 Senior Cheerleader Interviews |
What would you tell someone thinking about joining the team next year? |
Be prepared to put a lot of time into your team. It’s a lot of fun being a high school cheerleader, but at times, it’s a lot of work. |
What do you expect from the newer members of the group? |
All we expect is their best and a lot of energy. So far, our new members have done an awesome job. |
What do you think our biggest challenge will be this year? |
I think our biggest challenge will be putting together ending pyramids because we only have 14 girls. |
Has being in the group changed you in any way? |
Definitely, I’ve gotten so much closer to our girls just from practicing and always being together. |
What are your goals for the 2007 season? |
I believe our main goal is to become more of a team. We should all be able to work together and cooperate even when we’re not cheering. |
What are your most memorable Mrs. G moments? |
One of Mrs. G’s many memorable moments was last year when we were all in her classroom and she fell into a cardboard box!!! |
What are your plans after high school? |
I hope to go to LSU or Loyola to get a double major in marketing & graphic design. |
What will you take out of the field and into the real world? |
I’ll take the leadership and organizational skills I’ve learned this year with me in the real world. |
