2007-2008 Senior Cheerleader Interviews

What would you tell someone thinking about joining the team next year?

Be prepared to put a lot of time into your team.  It’s a lot of fun being a high school cheerleader, but at times, it’s a lot of work.

What do you expect from the newer members of the group?

All we expect is their best and a lot of energy.  So far, our new members have done an awesome job.

What do you think our biggest challenge will be this year?

I think our biggest challenge will be putting together ending pyramids because we only have 14 girls.

Has being in the group changed you in any way?

Definitely, I’ve gotten so much closer to our girls just from practicing and always being together.

What are your goals for the 2007 season?

I believe our main goal is to become more of a team.  We should all be able to work together and cooperate even when we’re not cheering.

What are your most memorable Mrs. G moments?

One of Mrs. G’s many memorable moments was last year when we were all in her classroom and she fell into a cardboard box!!!

What are your plans after high school?

I hope to go to LSU or Loyola to get a double major in marketing & graphic design.

What will you take out of the field and into the real world?

I’ll take the leadership and organizational skills I’ve learned this year with me in the real world.
