2007-2008 Senior Cheerleader Interviews

What would you tell someone thinking about joining the team next year?

You should have a positive attitude and learn to compromise with the other girls because they will be the ones to learn and grow together with you.

What do you expect from the newer members of the group?

Step up and ask questions so that when next year comes, they can be leaders and more experienced.

What do you think our biggest challenge will be this year?

Working together as a squad will be our biggest challenge.

Has being in the group changed you in any way?

Yes, being in the group has helped me understand the meaning of teamwork.

What are your goals for the 2007 season?

Our goal is to get our school and the Cowboy crowd more involved and pumped up.

What are your most memorable Mrs. G moments?

One day she was passing out t-shirts out of a cardboard box sitting on the floor.  When she bent over, she didn’t bend her legs and she went face-first in the box, yelling, “I’m falling into the box, I can’t get up!”  It was very funny.

What are your plans after high school?

My plans are to go to LSU and become a nurse.

What will you take out of the field and into the real world?

Cheerleading, or any other organized group, takes dedication and responsibility.  I will apply myself in everything I do.
