PHILOSOPHY

The term alternative means that we will do ALL we can to turn our students around.  Our students, for whatever reason, need a second chance to succeed.  The faculty and staff at Tangipahoa Parish PM High School are dedicated to the ultimate goal of preparing our students to be successful in life.  Meeting the individual interests, needs and abilities, of every student will always be one of our main goals and objectives.

In addition to providing a quality academic curriculum, we will strive to provide a climate and atmosphere conducive to a student finding and achieving success that will build their self-confidence and self-esteem.  We will stress individual differences, and the importance of individual responsibility, teamwork, plus personal and community pride and involvement.  We will actively seek to produce graduates who are confident, good citizens, and who are academically competent and prepared to be successful in life.
