INTRODUCTION:
Calling all first graders! Governor Foster needs
your help. He has some very important visitors who have never been to
Louisiana. Your job is to visit the web sites on this WebQuest and choose your
three favorite Louisiana Landmarks. You must tell Governor Foster the three
places you chose to take our visitors and why you chose these places.

TASK:
THE PROCESS
1.
Look at the following web sites. Your teacher will help you read the
information on the web sites about these Louisiana places. While your teacher
is reading the information, you should write down the names of your favorite places
and a fact about the place.
2.
Choose
your three favorite Louisiana Landmark places from the Internet sites you
visited.
3.
Make
a poster for Governor Foster and his visitors by drawing your three favorite
places.
4.
Make
sure you include a sentence about each of your favorite places on your poster.
(When you write your sentence, try to tell the visitors why they need to be
sure to visit this Louisiana Landmark.)
