You are about to graduate from high school. It is time to begin planning for your future. If you have not thought about a career choice, the time is now. You will complete sample career interest surveys and self assessment tools to guide you in forming a career plan. You will also research careers that fit your interest.
You are a job recruiter and you represent three companies. You must present information about three careers and the education required to reach these careers. You are trying to convince an audience (class) to go into your field. The first career should be what your career interest survey recommended for you as a career path. The second career should be the most popular field of the time. The final career choice should be the highest paid field or the field with the most expected growth.

highest paid career field with your group. Each person has a job.
Your job is...
Student 1: Research the education required, the estimated earnings of the profession, and the pluses and minuses of the profession. This should be done for the most popular field of the time and the highest paid career field.
Student 2: Research the kinds of jobs available in the most popular field and the history of the most popular profession. Also, the kinds of jobs in the highest paid career field and the history of the highest paid career field. Also, research the secondary schools you can attend for this career, the cost of the education, and is it one of the fastest growing occupations today.
Student 3: Research the kinds of jobs available

4. You are
to include all of your information into a presentation. You must use all careers and come into the classroom
as a job recruiter. All three students must participate in the presentation
to the class. The presentation must include:
1. Visual aid-poster, power point, etc.
2. Hands on aid-worksheet, fact sheet, etc.
3. Creative way to influence/convince the class of your job.
