PAC is an acronym for Ponchatoula High School's Alternative Club.
It is a club that is neither restricted by grade nor courses taken or grade point average. All students are encouraged to join. Students classified as severe-profound - gifted are welcome. Club members are encouraged to support other clubs/school activites.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of PAC is to give students a chance to belong to a club with little or no previous/academic requirements. It allows students to develop social and citizenship skills. By participating in PAC, students learn to work together for the improvement of the club, school, and community.
POINTS:
Attendance at meetings - 3pts each = 12 points
Nursing Home Visits - 5 pts each = 10 points
Donate food for meeting/teacher apprec. - 5pts = 10 pts
Fundraisers - 5pts = 10 pts
Participate in projects - 5 pts = 10 pts
Attend banquet - 3 pts = 3 pts
Total of 55 points available.
Need 40 pts to attend summer trip.
