10 day tour-Monday, June 22-Wed., July 1, 2009
If you would like to go on this trip, don’t make any important plans for June, 2009,  in case our trip dates slide around.  We will be certain of our dates as the year progresses and as participants join our group number.

NOTE:  The tour cost is based on 35 fully paying participants per tour.  We will not be combining with another unknown group from another school.  It is better if we have our own  private coach bus.  We must have at least 20 fully paying participants.  If we have only 20-24, everyone will pay an extra $279 for the trip.  If we have 25-29, everyone will pay $219 extra.

*If you enroll by December 1, 2008, you will save $50.00 from your basic tour cost.

*If our tour is moved, and we depart from the US or Europe on Friday-Sunday, we would need to add a $35 surcharge.

If you would like to go on this trip, please send your registration fee ($95) and application (both sides) to ME in September.  Your $400 deposit (included in the price above) will be due within 30 days of your registration fee (check or money order made out to CHA Educational Tours Escrow Account).  If you miss this 30 day deadline, you will owe a $50 late fee to CHA.  After you pay the $495, you will need to pay the balance of the trip cost by 110 days prior to departure. (March 3, 2009).  You may pay for your trip in installments if you like.  Send me your payments or you will be able to pay online to CHA-I will give you the instructions later.  (Please be sure to send your registration fee of $95 and application to me.  I will hold them until we have enough participants to make the trip (20).  If we don’t have enough participation, I will return your $95. 

BE SURE THAT YOUR NAME ( ON THE APPLICATION AND ON YOUR PASSPORT ) IS SPELLED EXACTLY THE  SAME (YOUR LEGAL NAME). ANY MISTAKES COST $100 TO CHANGE.  Also, you will need your passport 60 days prior to departure on our trip.  Don’t wait until the last minute-if you don’t have a valid passport, you cannot go on the trip, and you will not get your money back.

 

 

ADDED COSTS:
Spending money-CHA recommends $50 per day x 8 days=$400.00.

Tips for the bus driver and tour director are not included.  Close to the departure date, we will have a meeting to finalize details and to collect the $72 per person.

If double room is desired, add $152 ($19 x 8 nights)

YOU WILL NEED A PASSPORT.  DON’T DELAY.  IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE, BE SURE IT HAS NOT EXPIRED.  I will need a copy of the first 2 pages of your passport.

We will add a few optional side trips (the cost will be less than $100).  I will give you the info when I receive it. (Catacombs in Rome $19    Blue Grotto $59-but we pay in Italy-trip depends on weather).

If you are interested in the optional insurance ($109), see page 7 of your Tour Enrollment Booklet.  This optional travel protection plan may be purchased at any time up to 60 days prior to departure.
