Softball Rules Consequences

Rules:
1. You will set the best possible example at all times in your attitude, behavior, language, and actions. This means in school, in the classroom, on the field, in the bus, at another school, and in the many places we go together. ATTITUDE=ACTIONS
You will face harsh consequences if I am approached by a teacher about your behavior in class. You should be setting a positive example in the classroom.
2. You will be positive at all times, helping your teammate's always. POSITIVE=WINNING
3. You will do all assignments/chores given to you and be on time for all practices, games and team functions. WINNERS COME EARLY AND STAY LATE!!!
4. You will notify your coaches ahead of time (at least 1 day) if you have a situation in which you can not make a practice or a game. NO PRACTICE=NO PLAY in the next game. The Head coach will decide if it was a valid excuse. PREPARATION+PRACTICE=PERFORMANCE
5. You will come to practice and games dressed properly. IMAGE=CLASS
6. You must not argue any call with an official at any time.
MOST IMPORTANT: LISTEN, WORK HARD, BE COACHABLE, AND YOU WILL HAVE FUN AND IMPROVE!!!!!

Consequences:
2 rounds on first offense, 5 on second offense, and dismissal from team on third.
Round - run one time around the outside fence of the softball field.

Lettering Policy:
You must play 14 innings of varsity play in order to receive a varsity letter. You must letter 2 years to receive a jacket.

*You will not engage in any smoking, alcohol, or drug use at anytime.
ILLEGAL USE=DISMISSAL

SUMMER PORGRAM:
Mandatory summer conditioning program will be held
Starting June 1st through July 31st.
You must attend at least 12 days; for each missed day
after 4 a mile penalty will be enforced.
