We
made two classroom scarecrows! Several moms came and took
charge! They turned out great and the kids really enjoy
seeing them outside the door!
Thanks moms for all your hard work!
We read "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of
Anything" and made this little book to keep in our book
baskets. It gave us practice writing the number words
"one" and "two."
We also sang the matching song on the
"Wide-Mouthed Bullfrog" CD.

Circle Song
In
this song, we practiced our listening skills by listening for
your leaf color and following the directions in the song!
In "Math
Mania" (our math center), we made these festive fall leaf
necklaces while practicing patterns!
Leaf
Rubbings
In "Discovery Zone" (our science center), we made leaf
rubbings and wrote at the bottom, "My leaf is
______." We also talked about the different
characteristics of the leaves and sorted them by color and
shape.
In our
"Bookmaking" center, we made these fall books.
We had to read the text and stamp our fingerprints the
appropriate colors!
