Loranger Elementary must add 15 minutes  to the instructional day beginning Monday, January 25 and ending April 9 to make up the time lost Monday and Tuesday, January 11 and January 12, 2010.  School will take in at 7:45 and dismiss at 3:00.  For more information see below.                  February 15-16 is Mardi Gras Holidays.                Loranger Elementary will be open Monday, April 5, 2010 (the Monday after Easter) to make up the time lost Friday, January 8, 2010.

Loranger Elementary Current Events

 

At the School Board meeting Tuesday night, the Board approved the following recommendations for making up the lost instructional time due to school closings this month:

·         All schools will be open Monday, April 5, 2010 (the Monday after Easter) to make up the time lost Friday, January 8, 2010.

·         The following schools must add 15 minutes  to their instructional day beginning Monday, January 25 and ending April 9 to make up the time lost Monday and Tuesday, January 11 and January 12, 2010 :

o    Loranger Elementary , Loranger Middle and Loranger High

Therefore, the Loranger Schools will add 5 minutes to the beginning of school and 10 minutes to the end of the day.

           The gate for Carpool and Bus drop off will begin at 7:20 as usual.  The gate will close at 7:45 and your child will be considered tardy at this time. Please be reminded that students will not be allowed to check out after 2:30 p.m. Also, please be reminded that elementary students must be dropped off on Martin Street not Allman Street (between the Middle school and the cafeteria).
