| Coach Shaffett of Kentwood High School and Leslie Ballard of North Oaks Medical Center teams up tp teach Kentwood High students how to operate an A.E.D. (Automated External Defibrillator) which delivers an electric shock to revive a cardiac arrest victim. Some insurance companies actually provide AEDs for Homecare of Heart Patients. The students also learned how administer CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) and the Heimlich Maneuver for adults and infants.
