Dress Code    


Tangipahoa Parish School Uniform Regulations
 

    

Pants

·         Uniform pants will be khaki, or navy blue twill, with or without belt loops and pockets.

·         No khaki-colored jeans will be worn

·         No brand name or label can be displayed on slacks.

·         Pants must be bought in child's appropriate size. Sagging, oversized, wide-legged,  bell bottom, cargo, capri or carpenter pants may not be worn.  

 

Shirts

·        All students in K-12 will have a choice of long- or short-sleeved, polo-style (pullover with or without a pocket) or button-up oxford-style white or navy shirt.  Each principal has the discretion to designate an optional third color shirt. Turtleneck shirts or shirts with a zipper are not acceptable.

·        Elementary girls may wear a shirt with a "Peter Pan" collar.

·        No brand name, label or monogram can be displayed on the shirt.

 

Skirts and Jumpers

·        Girls in K-12 may wear only khaki or navy blue color twill skirts or jumpers in either the basic a-line style or bib.

·        Skirts and jumpers must be knee length or below.

·        No brand name, label or monogram can be displayed on the skirts or jumpers.

 

 

 
     

Skorts and Shorts

·        Girls in K-6 may wear khaki or navy blue colored shorts or skorts.

·        Boys in K-6 may wear khaki,white, or purple colored shorts.

·        No brand name, label or monogram can be displayed on the shorts or skorts.

 

Outer garments

·        Campus and/or classroom wear will consist of a navy, white or school-chosen color sweater (pullover, vest, button-up), zipper or snap windbreaker or sweatshirt.

·        Outer garments with a hood or labels are unacceptable.

 

Shoes

·        All shoes must have a closed heel and toe.                      

·        No sandals, wedged soles, platforms or high heels may be worn.

      Shoe with laces must be tied.

 

 
 

 
 

Registration

  

In order to register children to attend Hammond Eastside Upper, the following documentation is required:

 

  • Social security card

  • Health (shot) record

  • Last available report card

  • Drop sheet from previous school 

 

  • Certified copy of the birth certificate

  • Proof of residence (should be a preprinted document such as a light bill, rent receipt, etc.
