Welcome to 3rd grade.  My name is Ms. Stacie King.  I would like to start by telling you a few things about myself. I'm originally from Mandeville.  My parents and grandparents are natives of this area as well.  From there, I moved to Houma where I graduated from Terrebonne High School.  After graduation, I moved to Hammond to attend Southeastern Louisiana University.  I graduated in 1987 with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  I did my student teaching here at Champ Cooper in 3rd
grade with Mrs. Knight in 1987.  This was Champ Cooper's 1st experience with student teachers.  After graduation, I taught about 8 years at Loranger Elem. in 1st grade.  I came back to C.C.S. in 1996 and have been in 3rd grade since.
