Throughout the year I will use several different types of assessment.  These will include rubrics, checklists, written tests, reports, oral presentations, projects, group and individual activities, experiments, hands- on activities, homework, and participation.  The points taken from the above mentioned forms of assessment will be converted to a letter grade using the grading scale provided by the school.

  B  87%- 93%

  C  78%-86%

GRADED ACTIVITIES AND TESTS

The white communicator will be sent home each Tuesday for you to see.  It will contain graded papers,  tests, and any important notes from the office.  It is your responsibility to look through the communicator and sign the outside in ink next to the appropriate date.  The individual papers may be kept at home.  Feel free to use the comment section for any concerns that you may have about the papers.
