Hi! My name is Ashley Notariano and I grew up
in Ponchatoula. I graduated from Ponchatoula
High, and then went on to receive my bachelors
degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in
Elementary Education. This is my eleventh year of
teaching. I've taught at Holy Ghost and Amite
Elementary. The grades I've taught include
second, fourth, fifth, and sixth. I am a National Board Certified
teacher.
I've been married for over 5 years to a Fireman from
Hammond. I come from a very close family and am
the oldest of 4 children. One of my sisters
is a counselor at a school in South Carolina.
My brother was just married and teaches at SLU.
My youngest
sister recently graduated from Southeastern and
will be marrying an airline pilot this year. I have a
brother-in-law in the Air Force. I have two
wonderful nephews, one of which is a really
talented hockey player. My parents are two of
the most special and important people in my
life. It's because of them that I've become the
successful teacher and wife that I am today.
My
hobbies include most outdoor sports. I
especially like hunting and fishing. I also
enjoy teaching, spending time with my family,
dancing, hanging out with friends, traveling,
and sleeping late on the weekends. Chocolate
and spicy foods are my favorite!
