| Every week, a word problem in Math will be posted on the website. This problem is for fifth grade students in any of the three classes at Champ Cooper. If you can solve the problem, you can turn the answer in to me for a chance at a prize. On a loose-leaf piece of paper, write your name, teacher, the answer to the problem, and how you got that answer. If there is no work shown, that student will not get the chance for the prize. Once you are done, drop off the paper in the "Problem of the Week" jar located on the table. At the end of the week, I will draw a paper from the jar. If the answer is correct and the work is shown, that student will receive a small prize. If the answer is incorrect or the work was not shown, then another paper will be drawn out of the jar. Also, check back every week to see what the correct answer was. Good luck and get to work! | |||
