      Welcome to the Fifth Grade!  My name is Mr. Richardson.  I will be teaching your child Math, English, Spelling, and PE this school year.  I am confident that you will learn new and exciting things about the world around you.  We will be using computers, experiments, activities, and cooperative learning groups to make our lessons fun and meaningful.  Because you will be seeing 177 days of me, I want you to know a little bit about myself.  To do that, you will need to use your mouse to click on the pictures around me.  Once you do this, you will see how that picture is meaningful to my life.  There is also a question dealing with each picture.  If you answer all 8 questions on a loose-leaf piece of paper correctly, you'll get something "sweet" in return.  Good luck and have a wonderful year!
