In Outlook you can
choose to share your calendar with other people so that
they can see events or meetings on your calendar when
they are in their Outlook Calendar. You can do this by
following the steps below. |
|
1. In the left hand
navigation pane of your Outlook Calendar you will see a
section that looks like this. |
|

If your
Navigation Pane is not showing on the left hand side of
your screen, click "View" on the top menu bar then click
"Navigation Pane." |
| 2. Click on the link
that says "Share My Calendar" and the box below will pop
up. |
|
 |
|
3. Click the "Add" button
and the Global Address Book window will open. |
|
 |
|
4. Click on the person's
name that you want to share your calendar with to
highlight it and then go to the bottom of the box and
click the "Add" button... then click "OK". |
|
5. Once you have the
person added you have to give them certain permissions
in your calendar. You will usually just want someone to
be able to view your calendar... not to add or delete
things from it (although you could allow that if you
wish). So click on that person's name to highlight
it as you see below. |
|
 |
|
6. Now go to the center
of the window in the drop down menu next to "Permission
Level" and click "Reviewer." You will see that
checkmarks automatically are placed next to "Read Items"
and "Folder Visible." This means that they can see
your calendar and your Outlook folders but cannot make
any changes to them. |
|
7. Now click "Apply" and
"OK' and you have successfully shared your calendar. |
