In Outlook, if you want to send a Read receipt or Delivery Receipt to an email follow these steps:

1. Click "Tools" on the top Menu Bar and then "Options."
2. Under the "Preferences" tab, click the "E-Mail Options" button.

3. Click the "Tracking Options Button"

4. In the middle of the box, put a check mark if you want to receive a receipt when the person reads your e-mail or when the message is delivered or both.

 

Then click "OK."
