BETA CLUB 

On Saturday, January 31, 2015, your Beta Club competed against other clubs from District 9 which includes schools from Livingston, Tangipahoa, and St. Tammany. They won 7 awards and will advance to compete at state convention in May!

  • American Cancer Society Community Representative Melanie Byrd visited Martha Vinyard's Jr. Beta Club today to thank them for working so diligently to raise funds for Relay For Life and to inform them about the services that ACS provides.

    Relay For Life is Saturday, November 9, 2013 at North Oak Park in Hammond, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. We encourage families to come out to enjoy the day for such a great cause!

    Help us celebrate, remember, and fight back!

Winners at the 4-H beef cookery and sugar cookery:
Sophia Hanna - over-all winner at Sugar Cookery. She will advance to the regional cookery representing Tangipahoa Parish.

Paige Wagener won for her speech at the Sugar Ambassador Talks. She will advance to the regional Ambassador Talks representing Tangipahoa Parish.

To culminate our workshop about natural disasters students completed a Hurricane Tic Tac Toe. One of the choices was to create a board game. These are the different groups playing the student made board games about hurricanes.
